Richard and I were married in 1972, had four children, and were married for 25 years before Richard’s death in 1998. Our only son, Matt, was killed by a distracted driver in 2005. Richard was President of Bear Produce and I own a birth related business that serves families, nursing mothers and trains doulas in the Dallas area. We have four grandchildren and I feel incredibly blessed.

Mary Harwood (Bullard)
Mary Stuart Harwood married Andy Bullard in 1980 in her father's home on Edgecove Drive. Mary and Andy have resided in Lahaina, Hawaii; Orlando, Florida; Gwinnett County, Georgia; and Santa Barbara County, California. Following Andy's retirement in 2001, they returned to Texas and live in Woodway. Although Mary retired as a paralegal in 2017, she is still active in several legal professionals' associations. Retirement has also allowed her to spend more time pursuing her interest in genealogy which she began in earnest in 1992. Although her mother lost her courageous battle with the cancer discovered our senior year, Mary is blessed to be a two-time cancer survivor. She begins every day by saying: "This is the day which the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it."

Here's a picture of me taken recently. I retired from the Family History Library three years ago (after nearly 32 years) but I returned as a volunteer just a couple of months later and have now volunteered there three years. My manager (both as an employee and as a volunteer) and friend, Valerie, retired at the same time as me. Here is a picture of the two of us. I'm on the left.
