Steve is back…
Despite numerous predictions by most Lake Highlands High School faculty and students that I would crash and burn at an early age, I’ve managed to have a successful 50-year long career in the retail industry. I do, however, realize that I gave everyone plenty of reasons to make that dreadful forecast.
Consistent with my delayed High School Graduation, I was married later in life at age 37 and have been happily married to my beautiful wife Joni for the last 33 years with whom I have a 27-year-old son.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Kay Harvey and Steve Hagemann for dragging me back to school after I stupidly dropped out. Without their help and encouragement my life would have turned out very differently.
Although my life’s story is not a recommended path; I wouldn’t change a thing. Just as an FYI, I am still a car guy!
